About Esusu Identity Services (EIS)

Fraud is a persistent and growing problem in multifamily housing. Over 90% of property managers encounter fraud every year, and fraudulent applications contribute to roughly half of all evictions, creating significant financial losses and operational strain.

Esusu Identity Services (EIS) provides income and identity verification software that helps property managers identify fraudulent rental applications before they become costly evictions, unpaid rent, or operational headaches. Our products reduce manual review and enable leasing teams to make confident, consistent decisions.

Today, EIS focuses on income and ID verification. Our goal is to rapidly expand into a more holistic renter underwriting platform — one that makes leasing more fraud-resistant, more accurate, and meaningfully easier for property management teams. This will require expanding our feature set, deepening integrations, and balancing fraud prevention with a seamless applicant experience.

Formerly known as Celeri, EIS was acquired by Esusu in January 2025 and operates as a fast-moving, entrepreneurial team within the broader organization.

The Challenge

We’re looking for an Account Executive who understands how multifamily businesses operate and can turn that understanding into new business. EIS is operational software, so success requires empathy for leasing teams, property managers, and operators, along with the ability to show how EIS fits into their workflows and reduces risk.

The traditional outbound playbook is crowded. You’ll need to find creative paths to the right people through industry events, in-person meetings, operator communities, referrals, partnerships, customer introductions, and other ways to earn trust face to face. You’ll own the sales process from first conversation through close, become deeply fluent in the product, lead accurate demos, handle workflow and edge-case questions, and bring market insight back to the team.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and manage a pipeline of new business across multifamily and single-family owner/operator accounts, using creative approaches beyond standard email and LinkedIn outreach.

  • Generate opportunities through conferences, property visits, industry associations, operator networks, referrals, partnerships, and other in-person engagement. Represent EIS at 4+ multifamily real estate events per year.

  • Build relationships with senior decision-makers and frontline operators, and lead discovery grounded in multifamily workflows such as application review, verification, fraud investigation, leasing operations, and resident experience.

  • Become a product expert and deliver fluid, tailored demos that clearly explain EIS workflows, integrations, capabilities, limitations, and edge cases.

  • Translate customer pain points into a compelling business case, then run consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles through negotiation, close, handoff, and pilots or proof-of-value programs when appropriate.

  • Partner with Account Management, Operations, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to bring customer insight into the business and set new clients up for success.

  • Maintain an organized pipeline and reliable forecast, while keeping the focus on customer value and closing the right opportunities.

Who You Are

  • Customer-obsessed and commercially minded, with a genuine interest in how multifamily teams work and the credibility to build trust with both executives and frontline operators.

  • Resourceful, scrappy, self-directed, and persistent. You create opportunities when the obvious paths are crowded and know how to build momentum across a complex buying group.

  • A clear, compelling communicator who can lead discovery, tell a persuasive business story, and make complex operational software easy to understand.

  • Technically curious and detail-oriented, with the ability to learn a product deeply, navigate workflows, explain data dependencies, and handle edge-case questions.

  • Strong in judgment and comfortable making decisions with imperfect information. You know when speed matters, when to test a creative approach, and when precision is critical to earning trust.

  • Motivated by ownership, accountability, and impact rather than rigid process or narrow scope.

  • Energized by a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment and willing to help shape the sales motion as EIS grows.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in multifamily property management, leasing, asset or property operations, or selling multifamily proptech to owners, operators, and property management organizations. Candidates coming directly from property management do not need prior B2B sales experience.

  • A genuine understanding of multifamily workflows, incentives, pain points, and day-to-day operating realities.

  • A track record of creating outcomes through influence and ownership, whether by closing new business, growing adoption, improving an operating process, managing vendor relationships, or driving change across stakeholders.

  • The ability and willingness to learn EIS deeply and deliver accurate, confident product demos, including workflow, integration, and edge-case questions.

  • Strong consultative communication skills, with the ability to identify business pain, quantify impact, and connect an operational solution to customer value.

  • Resourcefulness in generating new opportunities through creative prospecting, relationship-building, events, referrals, and in-person engagement.

  • Strong organization and follow-through across active opportunities, with disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration. Willingness to travel for prospect meetings and multifamily real estate events approximately 1–2 times per quarter.

  • Passion for Esusu’s product, mission, and vision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience carrying a quota and closing net-new B2B business, especially selling multifamily proptech, technical software, data products, fraud or identity solutions, or other operational products.

  • Established relationships across the multifamily ecosystem and experience leading pilots, proof-of-value programs, or early customer programs.

  • Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM, plus formal recognition for sales performance, operating excellence, or another comparable achievement.

  • Interest in growing into broader strategic, go-to-market, or sales leadership responsibilities over time.
