As a senior teleoperations engineer, you will be working on designing and implementing the best pilot operations experience, working closely with all parts of the system - from software running on the robots to applications running on the client computers to the backend infrastructure. You’ll architect and build intuitive and robust platform systems, sit in on design reviews to ensure projects are built with the right technologies, and advise the org on best practices. You’ll work across teams, ensuring that as Coco grows, engineers have the processes & software they need to build safely and efficiently.

On the robot: Linux, ROS, Nvidia Jetson, AWS IoT, Python, C++
In the cloud: AWS, Helm, Kubernetes, Typescript
Basic Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
- 5+ years professional experience in software development, system architecture
- Significant experience with video streaming and processing
- Significant experience with networking
- Experience with backend infrastructure: Kubernetes, Helm, pub/sub frameworks
- Experience working with an observability stack
- Experience in architecting and implementing cloud services on a major cloud computing provider
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with building a teleoperation system / channel bonding solution
- Experience with low-latency real-time video streaming
Compensation Package
Coco provides salary + equity compensation packages. The salary range for this role is $130,000-$190,000. We also offer competitive healthcare benefits and a 401k program.
