Brelyon is an early-stage startup introducing the first-ever, headset-free virtual display to replace multi-monitors in high-bandwidth applications like teleoperation, data visualization, and simulation training. Our goal is to amplify the human-computer experience by designing around light and the visual experience of displays. We have already shipped hundreds of units around the world and continue to focus on the early adopting market.
Reporting to the COO and CEO as we scale up the business, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in business administration, developing and closing deals, especially in automotive and DoD and in international regions outside USA. The Business Administrator will work closely with Admin team but also closely with the business team and customers to help, build, maintain, and develop customer relationships.
Job Responsibilities:
- Has excellent English communication to manage sales emails and backend data and generate reports using CRM software like PIPE Drive and google sheets to track leads and customer interactions, ensuring informed decision-making.
- Oversee budgeting and financial management by utilizing Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, or SAP to create budgets and track sales-related expenses generating monthly reports of sales trajectory.
- Conduct market research and add new leads to the front of the funnel. Helping with international conference showcasing and distributor management.
- Facilitate effective customer communication by leveraging email platforms like Outlook and customer support tools like Zendesk to handle inquiries and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Coordinate sales strategies and campaigns with the team using project management software like Clickup to efficiently organize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Answer customer questions efficiently via live chats or setting up zoom calls to provide quick and accurate support.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or technical sales experience or Business degree with strong focus on communications.
- Prospecting, relationship-building, negotiating, closing, and relationship management skills.
- Creative, strategic, problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication/interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain clearly, listen to the feedback of clients, and relay this to colleagues in dialogs and talks.
- Customer focused and passion for customer development.
- Proficient use of MS Word, PPT, Excel.
- Some travel is necessary some late night or early morning hours in Tokyo time is required
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Brelyon in the US and with DoD.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in hardware, display technology, or consumer electronics.
- Familiarity with AR/VR and/or light-field technologies.
- Experience in defense, automotive, oil & gas, industrial, or data visualization solutions.
- Experience with CRM tools and lead-generation resources.
- Multiple languages especially English, Japanese, Mandarin, and Korean.
